SErENADE har som mål att förbättra energirådgivningen i EU genom att utöka räckvidden, omfattningen och kvaliteten på den energirådgivning som ges till hushåll, små och medelstora företag och lokala myndigheter. Det övergripande syftet är att effektivisera energianvändningen och öka användandet av förnybara energikällor. SErENADE kommer att resultera i en utvärdering av befintlig energirådgivning i Europa, en verktygslåda för energirådgivning (tillgänglig på nätet) och ett interaktivt energirådgivarforum (som blir basen för ett nätverk för energirådgivare). Ett informationsprogram för att nå berörda aktörer i hela EU ska genomföras för att föra fram fördelarna med bra energirådgivning och vilka resurser som finns för att hjälpa både nya och befintliga energirådgivningsaktörer.
